Visiting our university, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hulki Cevizoğlu, an AK Party Member of Parliament for Istanbul, inspected the Waste Collection Center and Waste Storage Unit, both operating under the Waste Management and Recycling Coordination Unit.
During the visit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cevizoğlu was briefed on the university's waste management processes, recycling practices, and sustainable environmental policies. Coordination officials gave a presentation on the campus-wide waste separation system, the QR code-based tracking system, and recycling targets.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cevizoğlu inspected the work being done on-site and expressed his satisfaction with the university's exemplary practices in environmental awareness and sustainability. He also emphasized the importance of universities taking a leading role in environmental protection and waste management.
